Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if we are the right fit?

Healing happens in safe relationships. A therapeutic relationship is vital to the client’s sense of emotional safety. For that reason, I offer a free 15 minute consultation for clients seeking therapy. During this time, I’ll share about my approaches and listen to the client's goals. If what the client is looking for is outside my scope, I will provide referrals to professionals best suited to work with you.

What are you like as a therapist?

In the therapy room, I show up genuine, curious, warm, and charismatic, allowing you to feel comfortable and at ease from the very beginning. I approach each session as a humble learner, recognizing that your lens is invaluable. When appropriate, I’m known to incorporate humor as a tool to ease challenging times. Overall, I remain open to feedback and honest communication to ensure your needs are being met.
